Avril at Romsey

… and Lancefield and Riddells Creek and Mount Macedon

Misusing my position

Today is All Saints’ Day. So tomorrow, rather than getting a sermon, Riddells Creek and Mount Macedon uniting churches are getting what seems to have turned into a history lecture on the development of the understanding of sainthood.

They can take the Avril out of the History Department …

  2. doing likewise for 2 slots tomorrow as we do all choral eucharist at our patronal festival for all saints/Choral evensong for all souls (therefore ‘communion of saints’)but including no 8 commandment in our sermon series ‘No stealing’. Marrying them together has proved a headache I can tell you!!

Hope all well. First eucharist over and all so so so wonderful…..wore your stole beneath my chasuble(photo to follow soon)…and had United Reformed Church minister at my laying on of hands in Southwark Cathedral despite him being anglican vetoed!….so determined to be ever ecumenical!!

    Much love
