So, remember how months and months and months ago I said I had an ordination date and that it was April 13 and then due to circumstances way beyond my control and mainly to be blamed on the inter-conciliar nature of the Uniting Church in Australia I found out I didn’t have an ordination date at all? Well …
Let’s try this again.
I am being ordained at the Church of All Nations, Palmerston Street, Carlton, at 2.30 pm on Sunday the 5th of October, 2008.

Who I am
My name is Avril Hannah-Jones. I am the minister at the Romsey, Lancefield, Riddells Creek and Mount Macedon Uniting Churches. After spending eighteen months as what the Uniting Church calls a “Ministry Intern” I was ordained on October 5, 2008 and am now a Minister of the Word. So, occasionally this blog will feature sermons and other products of my ministerial life. At other times I’ll blog about absolutely anything upon which I feel like commenting.
